Something a little different
New planters and flowers have now been installed in the Rochdale Road telephone box.
This work is part of a Parish Council plan to convert the telephone box into a cascading planter.
Neighbouring civic-minded residents have agreed to water the planters, though the council is also investigating the possibility of installing a small-scale irrigation system.
