They came at night.
After Ripponden Parish Council reported the faded “Keep Clear” markings on Halifax Road at the junction with Elland Road a few months ago, highways contractors repainted them at 9.30pm on 22 January 2025.
The contractors told the Council that they had tried to repaint during the day earlier in the month, but the junction was always too busy.
