About Ebenezer
Ripponden Parish Council runs Ebenezer Graveyard in Soyland.
If you wish to make further enquiries about organising a burial in the graveyard, please contact the Parish Council clerk.
Due to current fluctuations in pricing for burials and internments, charges are upon application to the Parish Council (accurate as of January 2025).
The Parish Council regularly mows the graveyard during the growing season.
Burial conditions
- The burial plot must be vaulted.
- Spoil must be taken away from the graveyard.
- Any monument should be in consultation with Ripponden Parish Council.
- Ripponden Parish Council must be indemnified against any other costs that may be incurred.
- New kerbstones are not permitted under any circumstance.
